It really isnt that old but I love this song. With vintage AZ over a premo beat, you cant go wong. AZ used to be one of my favorite rappers back in the day. He never really took off or got the commercial success that i thought he might. I think bad production and business decisions had alot to do with that.

Ricky Rubio to stay in Spain and not Play in the NBA until at least 2011
Via NBA.com:"Ricky Rubio's Spanish pro team has agreed to trade his rights to Regal FC Barcelona in a deal that will prevent the 18-year-old point guard from joining the Minnesota Timberwolves for two years, according to two internet reports. "
"Yahoosports.com and ESPN.com cited anonymous sources in reports that said DKV Joventut informed Timberwolves vice president of basketball operations David Kahn on Monday night of the agreement, dashing the team's hopes that Rubio would be in the United States this fall."
"Under his agreement with the Regal Barcelona, according to the reports, is a stipulation that would allow him to leave after the 2010-11 European season without having to pay a buyout."
I think the Timberwolves saw this possibly coming and thats why they drafted 2 point guards (the other being Johnny Flynn). But I didnt see what all the hype was about anyway. I never thought Rubio was that good to begin with. He cant shoot, turns the ball over alot, and isnt physically ready to play in the NBA. We'll see how he looks in a couple years.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge NY JETS fan! Today, Jets coach Rex Ryan confirmed that rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez (USC) will be their starting QB. I think this is a good move. Gilbert Arenas has been a long time friend of mine. We played youth AAU basketball together and cam up through the BTI (Basketball Training Institute) together all through high school. The Last couple of years Gil has been plagued by injury. After missing all of last year, Gilbert decided to spend this summer training at the ATTACK ATHLETIC facility in chicago. Attack Atheletics is run by training guru Tim Grover who is best known for being Micheal Jordans personal trainer. Tim has also been training Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade. This summer Gil joined other comeback hopeful Tracy Mcgrady in Chicago in hopes of revitalizing their careers. I know Gil personally and know that no one will work harder. I expect Gilbert to explode this year and show the league that he's back and ready to be an all-star again. They better be ready!!

I was suprised to see timbaland had three tracks on the ablbum. I was also suprised to see swizz, the neptunes, and no Just Blaze! Ball up Atlantic City
Here are the highlights form the "Ball up Atlantic City" streetball game. The "streetball" phase has really died down. Ive played against a couple players who played in this game. Im more of structured player who works on his jumpshot more than his windmills. Thats what growing up in the suburbs does to you. Although none of these dudes can shoot, there are some nasty dunks in this clip. Check it out..

Last Saturday I went to Power 106's annual "Powerhouse" concert out at the Honda center. The line-up this year was terrible but the headliner "Jay-Z" is what got me out there.
